Scarecrow Contest Registration

Calling all Businesses, Agencies, Organizations, and Families!
Registration can be emailed to Director@DowntownBataviaNY.com, or mailed to the B.I.D. office: 200 East Main St, Suite 12, Batavia, NY 14020.
Participants are asked to pick up scarecrow supplies TUESDAY Thru FRIDAY September 17th – 19th
3:30-5:30pm in Jackson Square or email for arrangements. All participants will be given a wooden
post, straw and twine to begin your scarecrow. Participants will receive an assigned pole Downtown
for your scarecrow. Scarecrows can be put up during the week of October 1st and no later than
FRIDAY October 4th. Scarecrows will need to be removed by SUNDAY November 3rd.
The Public will be asked to vote on Best Scarecrow via the BID’s facebook. Contest Winners to receive
cash prizes for “Most Creative”.
